Picnic at the Park

Joaquin and Madison wanted to go to the park after storytime at the library last week.  So we packed a lunch and off we went.  It was Madison's first time going to the storytime, she spent her time looking for books to read.  Joaquin still has to be stuck to my side.  We saw Aspen's teacher there with her kids, but Aspen was at girl's camp.  She can see her this week.

Our picnic lunch was good and the park was fun, except for the fact that my son, is a pansy!  He does not want to swing, he stood by an empty swing and pushed it and talked to the swing, like it was someone he was playing with.  He didn't like the teeter-totter, he would not get on and when he finally did, he would yell at me to stop bouncing it.  I stopped bouncing it and he told us to look, he stood up on the foot pegs, I think that was his idea of fun.  Madi and I were not feeling it!  As you can see from the pics, Madi loves to be bounced and he does not.  He wouldn't even smile for a pic.  Oh well, hopefully one day he will be more adventurous.

Madi loves the tire swing and wanted me to spin her fast, I did and I think she got sick.  Hence the picture!

Remember the old tire swing at the fire station park? I loved that thing! Cute pics.
